Welcome to Emerald Glen Labradors
Our mission is to produce healthy, happy, puppies with excellent temperaments, wonderful health clearances and the talent and desire to be amazing hunting partners, obedience competitors and family companions. Our focus is on pedigrees which embody generations of these qualities with a particular focus on multi-titled dogs (excelling in multiple venues). Many of the stud dogs we choose have earned their CH title in the show ring as a breed CHAMPION and are also titled in AKC performance sports such as hunt tests or obedience.
Our dogs participate in the following AKC activities: Hunt Tests, Obedience, Rally, Trick Dog and each earns their CGC (Canine Good Citizen Title) as well.
We are proud to say that puppies from our program have gone on to give back to the community as good citizens: as a police drug detection dog; as a deployable Search And Rescue Dog and as a Diabetic Alert Dog, and several as Therapy Dogs. Many have become wonderful hunting partners as well. One little cutie is in training to be an emotional support dog in the public school system. All are amazing family companions! In 2024, two earned their AKC Senior Hunter Titles, and two earned their AKC Junior Hunter Titles.
We employ Early Neurological Stimulation with all of our puppies to give them the best chance at optimizing their potential. We are located in central Michigan, but have placed puppies in loving homes in California, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Minnesota, Ohio, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Arkansas, Indiana, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Nevada, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Maryland, Canada, and of course, Michigan!
